The annual conference of PSSI titled "National Symposium on Plasma Science & Technology" is held during the last quarter of every year. PSSI ensures that every institution where research in areas of plasma science & technology gets a chance to host the annual conference. 

Institutes wishing to host the Plasma Symposium may write to the Secretary, PSSI with the intend to do so along with sanction from the appropriate authority of their institute. The final decision will be made at the General Body Meeting (GBM) of PSSI.
