LIFE MEMBERSHIP

An application for Life Membership must be supported by atleast one Life Member. A Life Member shall have the right to vote and  to hold an elective office along with a great number of opportunities that society offers.

Subscription : Rs. 1500/- (one time payment)

For members residing outside India (other than SAARC countries), the Life membership fee is US$100 or €75. This amount can be paid as Cheque or International Demand Draft in the name of "PSSI".

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

Any person studying aspect of plasma science at post-graduate or doctoral level may be admitted as a student member for such period untill he/she becomes eligible for regular membership or his/her age does not exceed 26 years, whichever is earlier. An application for student membership should be supported by atleast two regular members. Student members have no right to vote or to hold an elective office.

Subscription : Rs. 300/- per year

For student membership, If the student renews his/her membership for FIVE consecutive years, his/her membership will automatically be upgraded to LIFE membership at the end of the fifth year.

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP

Research Institutes, Educational Institution and industrial / commercial establishments associated with various aspects of plasma sciences and engineering would be eligible for admission as Institutional members. They shall be entitled to send one representarive to the General Meeting of the society , but he /she shall have the right to vote or to hold an elective office. This membership can be either regular (yearly fee) or Life (one time payment).

Subscription (Institute/academic) : Rs. 7500/- per year (Regular)

Subscription (Institute/academic) : Rs. 75000/- One Time payment (Life)

Subscription (Industry/commercial) : Rs. 10,000/- per year (Regular)

Subscription (Industry/commercial) : Rs. 1,00,000/- One Time payment (Life)

In the case of Institutional Life Member from the Industry, their company logo will be displayed on the PSSI website. The representative of the Industry shall have all the privledges of the society, except the right to vote or to hold an elective office. 

DONOR MEMBERSHIP

Any person who donates a sum of Rs.25000/- or more to society may be admitted as a Donor member. He/she shall have all privledges of the society, except the right to vote or to hold an elective office.
